Four Students Arrested for ‘Harlem Shake’ Video
Egyptian police have announced that they have arrested four students who filmed themselves publicly dancing in their underwear as they tried to emulate the newest viral video dance craze, the “Harlem Shake”.
Four pharmaceutical students shocked residents in Cairo when they removed some of their clothes and videotaped themselves dancing.
The hostile audience tried to assault the students who are being accused of committing a “scandalous act.”
Egypt has strict public indecency laws.
The viral craze was sparked by a group of Australian youngsters who uploaded a clip onto YouTube earlier this month, that video has been viewed almost 16 million times.
