Zombies to blame in a California crash
Jerimiah Hartline, 19, who is accused of stealing a lorry, losing control, crashing it and injuring seven people told police that dead people (zombies) were clinging onto the vehicle.
According to reports he had to swerve across the road in order to shake off the zombies.
“He was arrested at the crash scene and appeared to be in an altered state, claiming he was being chased by zombies,” said California Highway Patrol officer, Nathan Baer.
Hartline, of Tennessee, pleaded not guilty to six offenses, including assault with a deadly weapon, the truck.
Reports say he also denies reckless driving, vehicle theft, attempted vehicle theft, driving without a license and involvement in a hit-and-run resulting in injury.
