Mayweather, Oprah among potential investors for Clippers

While the Los Angeles Clippers aren’t officially up for sale, plenty of buyers are lining up after the NBA banned current owner Donald Sterling for life. Waiting in line are boxing greats Floyd Mayweather and Oscar de la Hoya, as well media mogul David Geffen and Oracle CEO Larry Ellison, among others. Oprah Winfrey may also be on board; she would join Geffen and Ellison as an investor. Meanwhile, more reaction continues to pour in, as Clippers coach Doc Rivers lauds the decision by NBA commissioner Adam Silver, saying he’s just ready to move on.
