We all know the legendary Jamaican folklorist Miss Lou, well a long time friend of the late poet has written a book as a tribute her. Jamaica’s poet laureate Professor Mervyn Morris has written a mini-biography entitled “Miss Lou: Louise Bennett and Jamaican Culture”.
 
Morris says the book takes a look at her life and her effort to ‘redress cultural imbalance’ in Jamaica and the world.
