New Radio & TV Requirements Threaten Antigua and Barbuda Network Licenses!

The airwaves may get a bit quieter coming in Antigua and Barbuda, as a governmental minister orders Radio and TV stations to pay up or be shut down.


MP Melford Nicholas, Minister of Information, Broadcasting Telecommunications & Information Technology has warned the media houses they’ve got until end of March to pay their license fee or he will use the full force of his office to suspend the operators.


The average fees paid for a broadcast license annually is 1500 bucks.
