NFL: New England probed in ball deflation case

Reports say that all but one of the 12 footballs used by the New England Patriots in Sunday’s AFC Championship game were under-inflated by 2 pounds of air. This follows claims that the balls were deflated on purpose to allow an easier grip. The NFL has not yet commented, but the Pats, who beat the Indianapolis Colts 45-7 in Sunday’s game, says they will cooperate in the investigation.
