The Toronto Maple Leafs have fired head coach Randy Carlyle after less than three years on the bench. General Manager Dave Nonis says Carlyle was too inconsistent in his coaching style, and that's what forced management to let him go. Assistant coaches Peter Horachek and Steve Spott will take coaching duties ahead of tomorrow's game, when the Leafs host the Washington Capitals. (Image source: The Score)
