Pakistan's Azhar Ali joins second stand in Mirpur Test

Pakistan batsman Azhar Ali was part of another big partnership, leaving Bangladesh rattled in day 2 of the 2nd Test at Mirpur. After a 3rd wicket partnership of 250 with Younis Khan 148, Azhar (who made 226) made a 5th wicket stand of 207 with Asad Shafiq 107. Bowling for Bangladesh, Taijul Islam took 3/179 from 51, Mohammad Shahid 2/72 from 31, Shuvagata Hom 2/76 from 16. At close of play on day 2, the Tigers were 107/5 in reply to the visitors; Shakib Al Hasan unbeaten on 14. Pakistan had a good bowling spell: Junaid Khan 2/26 from 6, and Yasir Shah 2/15 from 5.5. Bangladesh trail by 450 runs with 5 wickets remaining.
