West Indies Test captain Denesh Ramdin says there are some hard lessons to be learned following his side’s 2-0 series washout in South Africa. Ramdin spoke after the 3rd and final Test at Cape Town, saying they could learn a thing or two from the world’s number one Test side. The Windies could redeem themselves in a 3-match T20 series; the first match starts Friday in Cape Town. In the meantime, South African batsman Alviro Petersen is retiring from the international game. Petersen played in 36 Tests, scoring 2093 runs with 5 centuries, including one on debut against India back in 2010. He’ll be continuing his career in English county cricket.
