The Leeward Islands Hurricanes beat Jamaica by 4 wickets at Warner Park, St. Kitts. The Leewards posted 168/6 in the 2nd innings with a score of 99 by captain and man of the match Devon Thomas. Bowling for Jamaica, Damion Jacobs took 3/56 from 17 overs.
The match between the Guyana Jaguars and the T&T Red Force at Providence has ended in a draw. The Red Force made 99/3 in the 2nd innings including 40 from Imran Khan. This comes after the Jaguars’ 266/5 with Shivnarine Chanderpaul on 69 and Vishaul Singh on 41. Assad Fudadin was dismissed for 50, and Narsingh Deonarine made 41. T&T bowlers Imran Khan took 2/67 from 20, and Jason Mohammed 2/38 from 17. Guyana’s Devendra Bishoo was named man of the match for his six-wicket haul.
There was another draw at Kensington Oval for the Barbados Pride and the Windward Islands Volcanoes. The Volcanoes were 101/6 in the 2nd innings with wicket keeper Denis Smith on 17, and Shane Shillingford on 6. Barbados bowler Jomel Warrican took 5/29 from 20 overs. This comes after Barbados’ 2nd innings score of 167/5 declared; Roston Chase remained unbeaten on 65. Bowling for the Windwards, Alston Bobb took 3/55 from 20.1. Shai Hope of the Pride gets man of the match honours for his 211 in the 1st innings.
