Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts announced this morning that she expects to return to the morning show in February.
Roberts has not been on live television since August when the popular television host left to begin treatment for myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) which is a rare blood disorder.
She had originally planned to return to the anchor desk in the summertime but her treatment had been going exceptionally well.
Speaking on the show this morning Roberts revealed that her health was in good condition and that her blood count was improving.
Before being diagnosed with MDS, the anchorwoman underwent treatment for breast cancer in 2007.
