The IAAF’s ban against athletes from Russia will extend to the World Indoor Championships next year. The event, from March 17 to 20 in Portland, Oregon, will be the first major competition without Russian representation. The country was recently barred from competing after the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) accused them of widespread doping. Russia has also been declared non-compliant with WADA’s anti-drug code.
