In the 7th and final ODI match at Wellington, Sri Lanka wicket keeper Kumar Sangakkara launched his 21st ODI century to help give his country a 34-run consolation victory over New Zealand. Man of the match Sangakkara 113 not out built on the foundation of Tillakaratne Dilshan's 81 to bring the Sri Lankans to 287/6 from 50 overs. Bowling for the Kiwis, Corey Anderson picked up 3/59 from 9; Tim Southee took 2/50 from 10. The hosts' response wasn't as strong; their batsmen were bowled out for 253; captain Kane Williamson with 54, and wicket keeper Luke Ronchi with 47. As far as Sri Lanka's bowling goes, Nuwan Kulasekara took 2/55 from 9, Shaminda Eranga took 2/34 from 9, and ODI debutant Dushmantha Chameera took 2/60 from 8.
