Seven candidates are officially running for the president’s seat at the scandal-plagued FIFA. They are: Prince Ali bin al-Hussein of Jordan, Musa Bility of Liberia, former FIFA executive Jerome Champagne, UEFA general secretary Gianni Infantino, UEFA boss Michel Platini, Sheikh Salman bin Ebrahim al-Khalifa of the Asian Football Confederation, and veteran South African politician Tokyo Sexwale. Another man, David Nakhid of Trinidad, was not included because he only had four valid nominations; he required five. Current suspended president Sepp Blatter is stepping down from the post ahead of the election on February 26.
