Snoop Dogg Reflects on his ‘New Image’May 28, 2015
G98.7FM Entertainment News
The immortal Snoop Dogg says he’s experienced a massive change since his younger days. Snoop attributes his new attitude to Pharrell Williams who he’s often worked with and who also produced Snoop’s latest album “Bush.”
When working on the album, Pharrell mentioned to Snoop that he wasn’t young anymore and that what he wrote about at 25 wouldn’t translate into material representative of a 43 year old.
Snoop says that when he was younger and an ex-gang member he had nothing to lose and was living for himself, but now that he has a family his views have changed. In particular, his outlook on women, who Snoop says he didn’t value as much twenty years ago.
Despite his new way of thinking, Snoop says he doesn’t regret what he wrote about women in previous material because it took him falling in love with his wife to understand the error of his ways.
