Team Canada struck gold on day 13 of the Winter Olympics in Sochi. The women’s hockey team seized the top spot after beating US 3-2 in a tense overtime trial. Canada will also be playing the States in tomorrow’s men’s hockey final. Meanwhile, Jennifer Jones and the women’s curling squad also secured gold after handing the silver to Sweden. The men’s curlers are also digging for gold as they face Great Britain tomorrow. Canada has risen to fifth with 20 medals: that’s 7 gold, 9 silver, and 4 bronze.
