Sochi Day 7: Chan claims silver for Canada in figure skating program

It’s Day 7 of the Winter Olympics in Sochi, and Canadian figure skater Patrick Chan has earned another medal for his country. Chan won silver in the men’s free program, while Japan’s Yuzuru Hanyu took gold. Also today, Canada crushed Austria 6-0 in men’s hockey. Team Canada now has 4 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze, with a total of 11 medals. They are third behind Germany and Switzerland.
