At the 3rd Test in Cape Town… The hopes of a West Indies comeback are in doubt as South Africa’s bowlers were responsible for the visitors’ swift collapse on day 4. The Windies, with their 2nd innings score of 215 all out, looked promising with top scores by Marlon Samuels 74, Shiv Chanderpaul 50 and Leon Johnson 44. But South African Test debutant Simon Harmer led the bowling assault, taking 4/82 from 24 overs. Teammate Dale Steyn was also part of the action; he picked up 3/75 from 23.5. At close of play on the fourth day, South Africa are 9/1 batting a second time; Dean Elgar is unbeaten on 5, and Alviro Petersen was dismissed for 0. The hosts require another 115 runs to claim victory.
