Sri Lanka led the charge against Pakistan in day 2 of the 1st Test in Colombo. Replying to the visitors’ 138 all out, Sri Lanka closed the second day’s play on 304/9 in the first innings. Kaushal Silva 80, captain Angelo Mathews 77. Pakistani legspinner Yasir Shah took a five-wicket haul, just like his opponent Tharindu Kaushal did on day 1. The hosts lead by 166 runs with one wicket remaining.
