St. Jago high school coach declines KC offer

Just after being approached with a track and field coaching job at Kingston College in Jamaica, St. Jago coach Danny Hawthorne says he’s staying where he is. In a statement, Hawthorne says he’s humbled by the offer, but his 10 years of commitment to St. Jago will remain unbroken. KC is seeking a new leader of the track and field program after the dismissal of Orville Byfield, following heated tension with his assistant Raymond “KC” Graham.
