The award winning musical will be a Spanish language production in Havana that will feature a full cast of musicians and performers for a three month run. Producers have been trying for years to stage a full production in the country since former Prime Minister Fidel Castro banned all U.S musicals in 1959 during the Cuban revolution.
Those in the theatre industry are calling this a paramount step for musical theatre. The production that follows a group of struggling artist in New York, will boast 15 Cuban actors and directed by Cuban-American director Andy Senor Jr.
