Batting a second time, the Aussies 241/7 at close of play on day 2; they’re building on their woeful first innings score of 60 all out. An opening stand of 113 was made between David Warner 64 and Chris Rogers 52; Adam Voges was unbeaten on 48. England’s Ben Stokes took 5/35 from 16 overs. Previously, in the Three Lions’ first innings, Joe Root 130 and Jonny Bairstow 74 lifted the hosts to 391/9 declared. Root and Bairstow put together a partnership of 173 for the 4th wicket. Bowling for the Aussies, Mitchell Starc 6/111 from 27, and Josh Hazlewood 2/97 from 24.
