The Bible attracts record amount of viewers

The first two-hour episode of the History Channel’s new 10-hour miniseries, “The Bible” debuted over the weekend.
The series was so popular it attracted a huge audience of 13.1 million people, enough to make it the biggest “cable entertainment telecast” of 2013.
History Channel will continue airing two-hour installments every Sunday, up through Easter Sunday on March 31st.
