Please Get In Line…
On Tuesday BBM, the instant messaging service became available to Apple and Android users.
BlackBerry proudly announced that the BBM app had reached over 10 million downloads on the first day and was ranked the number one free app on the iPhone App Store and the Google Play store yesterday morning.
However, just because you download the app doesn’t mean you’re instantly part of the BBM family, users must enter their email address and “get in line” to activate the app and receive a Blackberry ID and BBM PIN. Some users have claimed to be on a waiting list for over 24 hours.
BlackBerry released a statement saying that the wait times are unacceptable and they are working to shorten the waiting list.
