If you loved the 1972 Jamaican cult classic ‘The Harder They Come’, it looks like a sequel is in the works!   In an exclusive interview with the Jamaican Observer, reggae legend Jimmy Cliff says they’re calling it  “Many Rivers to Cross” and it could begin filming as early as this winter in Jamaica and the UK.   66 year-old Cliff played the title role of a young wanna-be singer turned criminal named Ivanhoe Martin in the first film; the sequel will showcase a storyline involving Ivan’s unknown son.   "The Ivan character that I play had a child which he wasn't aware of and the child was not aware that his father was a notorious outlaw,” Cliff said, “they kept that from the child who lived in London, while his father was in prison for about 40 years!"   Click the below to watch ‘The Harder They Come” trailer!         Source: jamaicaobserver.com/Image: elefest.org   Contributor: @CharleneCMC
