LL Cool J and Brad Paisley collaborate
Hip-hop and country stars collaborating are nothing new. Nelly and Tim McGraw did it on “Over and Over”. That turned out to be a good song, however the newest Hip-Hop/Country collaboration is just plain weird.
Country star Brad Paisley and LL Cool J have come together on a song titled “Accidental Racist.” It’s featured on Paisley’s upcoming album, and Paisley will be featured on LL’s upcoming album as well.
In the song Paisley sings, “Cause I’m a white man livin’ in the southland, Just like you I’m more than what you see, I’m proud of where I’m from but not everything we’ve done.”
LL Cool J then raps, “I’d love to buy you a beer, conversate and clear the air, but I see that red flag and I think you wish I wasn’t here.”
LL Cool J also raps this, “If you don’t judge my du-rag, I won’t judge your red flag.”
