Last Night’s Emmy Awards Recap

MICHAEL DOUGLAS won Best Actor in a TV Miniseries or Movie for the LIBERACE movie “Behind the Candelabra”.

MERRITT WEVER from “Nurse Jackie” won Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy.  Apparently she didn’t think she was going to win, because she went up there and really couldnt figure out what to say…

Julia Louis-Dreyfus won the award for Best Comedy Actress, for “Veep”. Her co-star Tony Hale won the Supporting Actor award.  He held her purse when she went up and also helped her out with her acceptance speech.
