Travolta Says “Let It Go”

John Travolta finally broke his silence yesterday about botching Idina Menzel’s name at the Oscars, when he accidentally called her ‘Adele Dazeem’… not even close to the actual pronunciation.
“I’ve been beating myself up all day. Then I thought, ‘what would Idina Menzel say?’ She’d say, ‘Let it go, let it go!’ Idina is incredibly talented, and I am so happy ‘Frozen’ took home two Oscars Sunday night,” said Travolta in an interview with E News!
Of course, “Let It Go” is the name of the song Idina recorded for “Frozen”, and performed on Sunday night. In addition to “Let It Go” winning Best Original Song, “Frozen” also won Best Animated Film.
Idina hasn’t commented on Travolta’s name slaughter, but E! News says that she “laughed it off,” and thought it was “so funny.”
Meanwhile, Broadway and Netflix are trying to capitalize on it. Idina’s Broadway show, “If/ Then”, Tweeted, “You know her name! Idina Menzel stars in the new musical ‘If / Then’ on Broadway starting March 5th.”
And Netflix Tweeted, “Don’t miss the wickedly talented Adela Dazeem in ‘Rent’, streaming now.”
