“Jem and The Holograms” Movie In The Works!

Yes you read that correctly! Producer Jason Blum, whose Blumhouse Productions company is behind the “Paranormal Activity” franchise, is teaming up with Justin Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, and director Jon M. Chu (“G.I. Joe: Retaliation”) for the upcoming film adaptation starring the beloved ’80s cartoon series “Jem and the Holograms”. – So stocked!
The three-man team announced the good news via Twitter, with a video featuring Blum and Braun. “We have a really special announcement to make. The three of us are working on a movie together and we wanted to announce it directly to the fans,” Blum explained.

The project will reintroduce the 80’s series featuring the mysterious pop star ‘Jem’ (known for her glamour, glitter, fashion and fame) as “a modern-day live-action reinvention.
