David Letterman To Retire From Late-Night Show Next Year

David Letterman announced last night that he’ll be retiring as host of the longest running American late-night talk show sometime next year.
The comedian began hosting the show at the age of 34, and went on to explain that he’s done 4,014 shows on CBS, after doing 1,810 shows on NBC. He also joked that after officially retiring, he and his musical director Paul Shaffer will be taking a hike! – LOL
