B.B. King ‘Embarrassed’ By His Recent Live Performance!
Legendary blues musician B.B. King’s performance back on April 4th at the Peabody Opera House was beyond bad – for many it was painful!
So much so that according to TMZ.com, many people in the audience heckled King, even some going as far as walking out of the venue!
The 88 year-old singer/musician who through the majority of his performance chatted with the audience more than he sang, had (according to a representative) “mistakenly missed a dose of his prescribed medication on the show day”, and was exhausted from a 1,600 mile bus trip from Vegas – hence the less than professional behavior.
King has since apologized to his fans, with his rep stating, “It was a bad night for one of America’s living blues legends…”
On a brighter note, here’s a clip that King calls one of his best performances.
