JAY AND BEYONCE TRADEMARK BLUE IVY'S NAME BEYONCE and JAY-Z have applied for a trademark on their daughter BLUE IVY'S name. This stops other people from exploiting it.  And there's also speculation that Beyonce and Jay-Z plan to turn "Blue Ivy" into a brand name for a line of baby products like strollers, diaper bags and clothing. Two people have already tried to slip in and steal the name.  After the baby was born, one guy tried to trademark "Blue Ivy Carter NYC", and another tried to snag "Blue Ivy Carter Glory IV".  Both were denied. Beyonce and Jay-Z's application should be approved without a hitch.           50 IS IN AFRICA GIVING BACK Rapper 50 Cent is teaming up with the World Food Program to see firsthand the effects of hunger in Somalia and Kenya. The rap star flew to Dolo, Somalia, on Wednesday. Tens of thousands of women and children have fled there over the last year to flee a devastating famine that killed thousands across Somalia. WFP said the rapper has committed to provide 1 billion meals for the hungry, and is donating to WFP 10 cents from every sale of a new energy drink called Street King that he is promoting. The U.N. last week declared an end to Somalia's six-month famine, though it said tens of thousands of people still need food aid to survive. The British government estimates that between 50,000 and 100,000 people died from the famine's effects. With all the foolishness that he sometimes gets involved in, it's good to see 50 giving back and donating future profits to such a necessary cause.               HALLE MOVING TO FRANCE? HALLE BERRY has reportedly petitioned the court for permission to move to France with her daughter Nahla . . . presumably so she can live with her boyfriend OLIVIER MARTINEZ in his home country. Obviously Nahla's dad GABRIEL AUBRY isn't expected to give in without a fight. Some people think Halle wants to move because of an ESCAPED MENTAL PATIENT who used to stalk MADONNA back in the '90s. His name is Robert Hoskins, and he actually threatened to kill Madonna after she didn't buy into his claim that they were married.  (???) He even scaled a fence at Madonna's house and got into a fight with one of her security guards . . . who was forced to SHOOT him.  He served 10 years in prison, but when he got out, he decided to set his sights on Halle. He was put in a mental institution, but he recently escaped.  And police say he's threatened to CUT HALLE'S THROAT. A source says, quote, "Halle has hired 24-hour guarded security at her home and the LAPD has been visiting her since the escape.  The police are serious about this guy because he always travels with a knife and gun."           NE-YO'S FIANCE ADOPTS 40 CHILDREN IN AFRICA Looks like Ne-Yo's fiance just broke the African-child-adopting records set by Madonna AND Angelina Jolie ... combined ... agreeing to adopt 48 children in Swaziland. Full disclosure -- Monyetta Shaw's not actually taking 48 children back to the United States with her ... but she did agree to pay for their living costs for an entire year ... a nearly $20,000 commitment. Sources told TMZ, "Football Wives" star Chanita Foster  who founded a charity called Beyond the Game to provide children in Swaziland with food, clothes, and education -- got in touch with Monyetta about sponsoring a child or two ... and Monyetta agreed. After all the hoopla about Monyetta in the strip club, it's a good reminder (and maybe not coincidental) that it is their hard earned money to spend and though we might not like all decisions they make, it doesn't mean they don't also make awesome life changing moves with their money.           CHAD OCHOCINCO IS GETTING HIS JOHNSON BACK (PAUSE) Say goodbye to Chad Ochocinco ... the Patriots star is telling friends, he plans to change his last name BACK to Johnson in time for his wedding this summer -- because he doesn't want his wife to have a made-up last name. Ocho's wedding to his "Basketball Wives" fiancee Evelyn Lozada is set for July in Florida -- and sources tell TMZ, the wide receiver plans to legally change his last name back to the one he was born with before he ties the knot. Evelyn says doesn't care what name she ends up with -- Johnson or Ochocinco -- the choice is entirely up to Chad ... but it appears he's already made up his mind.         RANDY TRIES TO SMOOTH THINGS OVER WITH ADAM LEVINE Last week, ADAM LEVINE scolded RANDY JACKSON during an appearance on "Ellen", for allegedly calling "The Voice" a, quote, "second-chance place." On RYAN SEACREST'S radio show yesterday, Randy tried to smooth things over. He said, quote, "I've got mad love for Adam . . . but, their show is a different show than what we do.  We go out and we search for the next would-be superstar.  We're looking for the person that no one knows about. "Respectfully, Adam Levine, we can all exist together and do it big . . . I think you misunderstood me, dawg."
