Sony has issued an apology to U.K. fans after it jacked up the price of two Whitney Houston albums by an astounding 60 percent Saturday night, in the immediate aftermath of the singer’s death. Naturally, it wasn’t long before outraged fans took the label to task for what seemed to be a greedy attempt to capitalize on her passing. Or was it all just an innocent accident?
At the very least, it was a major PR blunder, though the label has since broken its silence on the perceived cash grab. According to Sony, the gouging, ill-timed price hike was not intentional. “Whitney Houston product was mistakenly mispriced on the U.K. iTunes store on Sunday,” the label said in a statement. “When discovered, the mistake was immediately corrected. We apologize for any offense caused.” Adding to what the label is dismissing as simply a coincidence (albeit an eyebrow-raising one) is the fact that the two albums struck by the pricing mishap, Ultimate Collection and Greatest Hits, were Houston’s compilation discs, the two most likely to be purchased by nostalgic, mourning or just curious fans.

CEE LO GREEN is working on two albums simultaneously.  He has a solo album on the way called “Everybody’s Brother” . . . and his rap group GOODIE MOB is putting out an album called “Age Against the Machine”. Apparently, Cee Lo changed the name of the Goodie Mob disc.  When he first announced it last summer, it was called  “We Sell Drugs Too” (NICE!).  Neither album has a release date, but Cee Lo says they’re both “coming soon.”

It was less than a month it was reported that VANESSA BRYANT was taking half of KOBE’S $75 million fortune . . . including all three of their homes. But on Tuesday night, they were caught KISSING in the tunnel on the way to the locker room after a game. According to TMZ, the couple, who married back in April 2001, are working on a reconciliation. Despite Kobe and Vanessa moving ahead with all the necessary documents, their divorce won’t become final until mid-June, so there’s still time to withdraw the papers.
Even amidst very public displays of affection, the couple are not back living together yet. Kobe and Vanessa have two daughters  – nine-year-old Natalia and Gianna, five.

News broke yesterday that Gabe Solis, the husband of Trina Braxton from the tv show “Braxton Family Values”, was allegedly involved in an affair with a transgendered woman named Julisa Abadshian.  Now, Gabe claims it’s all false and he is a victim of photoshopping. Trina’s dirty dog of a husband says the pics were photoshopped  and told  that he doesn’t know the woman in the tape and has never had any contact with her, saying..
“First off I want to apologize from the bottom on my heart to my Wife Trina who deserves NONE OF THIS. I have done many things that I am not proud of that I’m sure will all unfold in the coming weeks on the show, on the blogs, the newspapers and any other way it can unfold. I canNOT undo the past. However, I am NOT into Trannies!!!! I am very heterosexual. I have no clue who the ladydude woman posted on the web is and I have never spoken to her/him/ or whatever they are claiming. Yes, I know I will be the target of many gossip bloggers because of my past record. Like I said, I have NEVER Resorted to same sex affairs or any physical affairs. I know that cheating is cheating and I am in no way making excuses. I am currently in therapy because I have a SEX Addiction Problem. I very much want the help that it will take to restore my family.” Gabe Solis.
