BEENIE MAN LOVES ALL HIS FANS (EVEN IF THEY HAPPEN TO BE GAY) AKA “PLEASE GIVE ME BACK MY VISA”
Jamaican Reggae star Beenie Man recently recorded a positive message to proclaim his love for all human beings including those who are gay and lesbian. [“I respect each and every human being, regardless of which race or creed, regardless of which religious belief you believe in, and regardless of which sexual preference you are, including gays and lesbian people.”]
He spoke about the fact that he is being banned from performing and begged people to not judge him on songs he wrote 10- 20 years ago and that his views have since changed as he has grown up and is a different person with different views. This although in just a few years ago Beenie headlined a Pepsi Cola Anti-gay concert in Uganda where he told the crowd that he’d like to cut the throats of all gay men.
Well in any case here’s the person Beenie is now, or as of the date this was released… http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=KIJtjgn2ypQ
The tribute to WHITNEY HOUSTON at Sunday night’s “Billboard Music Awards” seemed to go off without a hitch. But all we saw was what happened onstage. Watching at home, we missed a little action in the front row. Whitney’s on-and-off boyfriend RAY J had a seat near the family . . . and they weren’t happy about it. Apparently, they think Ray was a bad influence on Whitney in the last years of her life.
So Whitney’s sister-in-law Pat reportedly told her security to REMOVE him. But he had a ticket like everyone else, so he refused to leave. So she called hotel security. Things started to get heated, and security warned Pat that it wouldn’t be wise to cause a scene that would probably be caught ON VIDEO, right before Whitney’s tribute. So Pat backed off and Ray J kept his seat. And a source says he told a friend, quote, “Pat ruined what was a great opportunity to honor the woman I loved.”
But a rep for the Houston family says Pat does NOT have a problem with Ray. And her assistant only asked him to move after the Billboard people told them they had to move to the seat Ray was already sitting in. (Yeah riiiiiight!!)
