50 CENT IN CAR ACCIDENT
50 CENT was injured in a "bad car accident" in New York yesterday morning. His rep says he was hospitalized and treated for "minor neck and back injuries" . . . but he's since been released, and is, quote, "doing fine." 50 wasn't driving the car, a man named Bruce Miller was. He was also briefly hospitalized and released.
According to his website, ThisIs50.com, 50's "bulletproof SUV" was, "rear-ended by a Mack truck." The truck driver reportedly told police that his load shifted and he lost control of the vehicle....This is the second time 50's been to the hospital in the past two months. He went in last month with a blockage in his small intestine.
SNOOP DOGG'S SON GETS A SCHOLARSHIP Snoop Dogg's second oldest son Cordell has been offered a football scholarship to UCLA. If he accepts, he could join Diddy's son, Justin Combs, on the team. Cordell is the latest celeb's kid to get a scholarship offer, despite the fact that he's still just 15 years old. UCLA coach Jim Mora Jr. says he offered the scholarship to Cordell because of his skills on the field. Many are saying this looks like a PR move since Snoop tends to favor USC and their football program. While it looks like he'll continue to play for his high school many wonder if he should lock in this scholarship now for 2015.
University of Kentucky basketball star ANTHONY DAVIS is a BOSS!!. Even though he just completed his freshman year, he's entered tomorrow's NBA draft. And the New Orleans Hornets are expected to make him the NUMBER ONE PICK. Here's something else that's awesome about Anthony Davis: He's BROWED AND PROUD. Davis has a MAJOR UNIBROW, and he's very territorial about it. Earlier this month, he trademarked the phrases "Fear the Brow" and "Raise the Brow". He says, quote, "I don't want anyone to try to grow a unibrow because of me and then try to make money off of it. Me and my family decided to trademark it because it's very unique." A lot of people were selling "brow" merchandise during his freshman year. Davis couldn't capitalize on it himself, thanks to NCAA rules. Obviously, that's all aBROWt to change 😉
AMAR'E STOUDEMIRE of the New York Knicks recently used a gay slur . . . to insult a Twitter hater. He later apologized, but The NBA has fined Amar'e $50,000. Amar'e says, quote, "I should have known better and there is no excuse. I am a huge supporter of civil rights for all people. I am disappointed in myself for my statement to a fan."
