Reports state that Naomi Campbell’s russian millionaire boyfriend, Vladimir Doronin who is still very much legally married to his wife of 24 years, Ekaterina, is now officially filing for a divorce.
Doronin’s estranged wife, Ekaterina, who has been living separately for 10 years and even photographed with the couple, now claims that Naomi Campbell is the reason that she and her husband are divorcing. Last year, Ekaterina told News of the World: “It’s a ridiculous affair. Vladimir is married to me and we are still a couple. Naomi is deluding herself if she thinks she can take my husband.” Ekaterina also has a 15-year-old daughter with Doronin.
However, friends of Campbell say that the supermodel and real estate tycoon started dating in 2008, years after his marriage to Ekaterina began falling apart.
Reggae artiste Jah Cure has retreated to the hills of Hanover to clear his mind after a recent controversy concerning a show in St Vincent. Jah Cure says, “I was born in the mountains so up here my spirit roams free and at the same time it’s adventurous, far away from all the negativity just tranquillity and peace.”
Jah Cure revealed that he inherited a substantial amount of property from his deceased grandfather, and that he wants to take the time to cultivate and develop the property.
According to Jah Cure’s publicist, the artiste wanted to clear his thoughts after a controversy concerning his non-appearance at a concert in St Vincent. Cure did not perform at the event because the promoter did not meet his contractual obligations. The promoter is said to have given Cure US$15,000 as a deposit, but was unable to make the final payment because 2,000 bogus tickets were collected at the gate to Victoria Park where the event was staged.
A group led by MAGIC JOHNSON is buying the Los Angeles Dodgers, thanks to a winning bid of more than $2 BILLION. It’ll be a record price for a sports franchise . . . once it’s approved. And that’s a STRAIGHT-UP CASH OFFER.
Johnson said he was “thrilled” to be a part of the franchise and promised to, quote, “drive the Dodgers back to the front page of the sports section in our wonderful community of Los Angeles.”
The team had been struggling since 2009, when it became a pawn in the divorce of owner Frank McCourt and went bankrupt in June. Magic will only have a small stake in the team, as will Hollywood producer Peter Guber . . . whose credits include Tim Burton’s “Batman”, “Rain Man”, “The Color Purple”, “Flashdance” and one of the greatest comedies of all time, “D.C. CAB”!!!
Guber is a co-owner of the Golden State Warriors. He and Magic Johnson already own a minor league baseball team called the Dayton Dragons, which has sold out 844 consecutive games. That’s a record in U.S. professional sports.
