THE JUICE WITH JEM (Wed, Sept 5)September 5, 2012
KELLY RIPA officially introduced MICHAEL STRAHAN as REGIS PHILBIN'S permanent replacement yesterday . . . four-and-a-half years after Michael's first appearance on the show, when he joked that he wanted to take Regis' job.
Michael has been a guest co-host 20 times. But his first appearance came in February of 2008, when he was a regular guest after winning the Super Bowl with the New York Giants.
On that episode, REGIS PHILBIN asked Michael what was planning to do after football, and Michael said he'd like to REPLACE REGIS, to make it the "Live! With Michael and Kelly" show.
Regis responded, quote, "Well, you never know who's going to sit here next," and Kelly said, quote, "I like the sound of that!" Kelly played a clip of that on yesterday's show, and said, quote, "It was like a prophecy." Michael added, quote, "I was joking, but I'm glad the joke came true."
THE ROYAL SCEPTER
The Royal Family is facing another nude scandal today. This one involves PRINCE HARRY'S 91-year-old grandfather, PRINCE PHILIP. Philip and his wife QUEEN ELIZABETH were watching the Highland Games in Scotland over the weekend, and Philip wore a kilt. And he wore it the CORRECT WAY . . . meaning he went COMMANDO underneath. Unfortunately, when you go commando, sitting can potentially be a problem. And unfortunately the prince....showed his scepter..
CHAD JOHNSON seems to be one of those guys that JUST DOESNT GET IT as is proven by his latest scheme to get his wife Evelyn Lozada back. CHAD is seen in his latest twit pic with a brand new tattoo of Evelyn's face on his leg. He also changed his personal description to read, quote, "Don't follow me... I'm not perfect... I'm not a role model... I'm not into acting yet... Oh and I love all of that from the E to the N." (--We assume "E to the N" refers to Evelyn.)
There's no word whether any of this will change Evelyn's mind, or make her forget that he allegedly HEAD-BUTTED her.
