The Origin Of the ‘Boston Tea Party’ 

 
On this day in 1773, disguised as Indians American colonists boarded a British ship and dumped over more than 300 chest filled with tea from the East India Company into Boston Harbor to protest tea taxes.
 
The event became iconic in American history and is known as the Boston Tea Party.
