First Human VOICE Heard Over First Wireless Radio Broadcast

Back in 1906, Canadian physicist Reginald A. Fessenden transmitted the first human voice (his own) as well as music over radio broadcast (ever in the world’s history) from Brant Rock, Massachusetts.

Known as the “Father of Radio” and “Radio’s First Voice” this break through made Fessenden the first person to actually transmit the sound of the human voice without wires.

In concluding his broadcast Fessenden wished his listeners “A Merry Christmas.”
