Mother Teresa Arrives in India
Back in 1929, Mother Teresa arrived in Calcutta, India to begin a her work amongst India’s poorest and diseased people.
In 1979 Mother Teresa received a Nobel Peace Prize for her humanitarian work.
She also founded a Missionaries of Charity, which provides homes for people with HIV/AIDS, leprosy and tuberculosis.
