The Amsterdam Jail Break Act Performed

Back in 1903, illusionist and stunt performer, Harry Houdini, escaped from a jail cell in a police station in Halvemaansteeg, Amsterdam.   Houdini gained his reputation as a “prison breaker” and performed his act in several towns around the world. His file contains hundreds of letters from police chiefs attesting that the escapes were real.
