CN Tower Construction Begins

 
In 1973 was the start of construction on CN Tower, a communications transmission mast and observation post to be the world’s tallest freestanding structure.
 
In 1995, the American Society of Civil Engineers classified the CN Tower as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.
 
The CN Tower serves as a telecommunications hub while providing world-class entertainment and a wide range of unique attractions, exhibits and food and beverage venues.
