The Salvation Army Arrives In U.S

 
In 1880, the Salvation Army arrived in the United States from England.
 
Today, the Salvation Army is an international Christian organization that believes in “Doing The Most Good.”  The Salvation Army operates 7,546 centers in communities across the United States and in more than 120 countries around the world.
 
“Our mission: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.”
