Toronto Police seeking murder suspect in 2014 Regent Park shooting

Toronto Police are making an appeal for more information in the murder of Yusuf Ali, the 18-year-old man shot dead in Regent Park one year ago today. Ali was killed while walking with friends on Creemore Avenue, on the afternoon of October 6, 2014. Witnesses reported hearing somewhere between six and eight gunshots. Speaking to the media in Regent Park this morning, Detective Sergeant Tam Bui said that Police Chief Mark Saunders has authorized a 50,000-dollar reward in the search for Ali’s killer. The homicide unit is also reviewing surveillance footage in the area.
