A Utah Police Officer got the ultimate birthday gift recently after being serenaded by Gladys Knight during a traffic stop!
The seven-time Grammy-award winner sang and posed for a picture with Officer Paul Rogerson and his wife (who was in cruiser with him at the time) this past Wednesday. “No Pips were injured during the taking of this picture.” Joked Rogerson on the Pleasant Grove Police Department Facebook page.
The officer had stopped the car (Knight was the passenger) for speeding and was checking the driver’s license when he was informed that the legendary singer was on her way to an event for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints according to the Associated Press.

Pleasant Grove Police Captain Mike Roberts told the Associated Press that the driver was let go with a warning, something that Rogerson likely would have done even if the 71-year-old Knight wasn’t in the car.
