WARM BODIES NUMBER 1 AT THE BOX OFFICE THIS WEEKEND

The Zombie-love story Warm Bodies took the top spot this weekend at the box office.

Making its box-office debut, the film, which is about a zombie who falls in love earned an estimated $20 million from Super Bowl weekend.
 
Last week’s box office champ, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters brought in a total of $9.2 million for the weekend bringing its two-week total to $34.5 million.
 
In third this week was Silver Linings Playbook which earned $8.1 million this weekend bringing its 12 week total to $80.3 million.
 
Horror flick Mama racked in $6.73 million in its third weekend. So far the movie has made $58.3 million.
 
Rounding out the top 5 this week Zero Dark Thirty with $5.3 million. The controversial thriller about the manhunt for Osama Bin Laden has earned $77.8 million to date.
 
Sylvester Stallone’s newest movie Bullet to the Head opened up in theatres this weekend as well bringing in a disappointing $4.5 million. This has been the lowest opening for a Sylvester Stallone movie since 1981.
