WICB asks BCCI for bilateral talks following ultimatum

West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) president Dave Cameron has sent an email to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in response to the Indian board’s ultimatum. Cameron says they cannot go to India’s courts for damages over the Windies squad’s pullout last year. Instead, he’s looking for bilateral talks or a third-party mediation over the next two months to solve the issue. Last week, the BCCI asked for almost 42 million in damages after the West Indies ODI squad suddenly pulled out of India in October. India has cancelled all tours to the Caribbean until the matter is sorted out.
