WICB head Cameron turns down CARICOM meeting on board's dissolution

Following calls to have the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) dissolved, the board’s president Dave Cameron said he was too busy to have a meeting with CARICOM leaders on the matter. Cameron was invited to an urgent meeting earlier this month by Grenada’s Prime Minister Keith Mitchell to discuss a review panel’s report which calls for the WICB’s dissolution among other things. Mitchell, who’s the chair of the CARICOM Cricket Governance Committee, responded to the snub, urging Cameron to think less of himself and his board members, and more of the Caribbean people.
