Williamson shines in Black Caps’ victory over Sri Lanka

New Zealand won their two-match Test series 2-0 after blasting Sri Lanka by 193 runs in the 2nd Test at the Basin Reserve in Wellington. Sri Lanka were bowled out for 196 in the 2nd innings. Scores from Lahiru Thirimanne 62 not out and Kaushal Silva 50. Of course, the Kiwi bowlers did their damage: Mark Craig took 4/53 from 18, Doug Bracewell took 2/25 from 13 and Trent Boult took 2/55 from 21. The man of the match, Kane Williamson, was honoured for his double century in New Zealand’s 2nd innings. He joined up with wicket keeper BJ Watling for a record-smashing unbroken 6th wicket stand of 365.
