South Africa completed a 2-0 series washout against the West Indies, steamrolling them by 8 wickets at the 3rd and final Test in Cape Town. The hosts’ 2nd innings score of 124/2 was enough to seal the deal, thanks in part to two unbeaten batsmen: captain and man of the series Hashim Amla on 38 and Dean Elgar on 60. Bowling for the Windies, Sulieman Benn picked up 2/24 from 17 overs. South Africa’s wicket keeper AB de Villiers has more reason to celebrate: he was the man of the match after a score of 148 in the 1st innings.
